Sonic Rodeo is a gathering devoted to experimental sound, art, collective experience, and deep listening—rooted in the vast wilderness of the Chihuahuan Desert. Held in Marfa, Texas, the three-day event brings together emerging and established artists from Texas, the region, and beyond to create a space of resonance, collaboration, and care.

CIA Records is proud to have sponsored the festival in late 2025, and has released a collection of recordings to be enjoyed well beyond the magical territory of West Texas. Find them on CIA’s Bandcamp.
