A new album from Phil Boyd and Nick Terry (Marfa, TX) is now available on Bandcamp, in12” vinyl and high quality digital download.

Together Boyd and Terry have created “Air Field”, a project of minimal recordings, “ambient odes to the vast land and sky-scapes of West Texas”. The tracks conjure static in crystal-clear desert air; the drone of steel guitars lingering in memory from simpler-seeming decades; and radio waves that never quite made their destinations.

Phil Boyd, of Modey Lemon www.modeylemon.bandcamp.com, Hidden Twin www.hiddentwin.bandcamp.com, and Nick Terry, www.kimazuichinmoku.bandcamp.com, www.c6fe2rn6.bandcamp.com, met in Marfa and started Air Field 2021. They released Air FieldVol. 1www.airfield1.bandcamp.com/album/vol-1  in 2022, and created the soundtrack, working with Rob Mazurek, for David Fenster’s Neuro Osmosis film www.airfield1.bandcamp.com/album/neuro-osmosis-soundtrack in 2023. Air Field Vol. 2 is their third album, and the first to be released by CIA records; they also appear on the brand new Sonic Rodeo recordings collection.
